General requirements

Academic Requirements:

  • Completed degree from a public or officially recognised university/higher education institution in a relevant field.
  • For 120-ECTS programmes, you will need to have 180 ECTS credits.
  • Achieved a final grade of at least “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent (minimum 3,5 in the German grading scale) in your previous undergraduate degree

English Level:

  • Proof of English skills.
  • If you do not meet the English skills requirements, IU offers the free of charge IU English Language course. This is available to you if you meet the other admission requirements.
  • If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you do not have to prove your English skills.
